MY COACHES
WITHOUT THEM... I AM JUST A STUDENT
AND NOT @QBFOR2021
Becoming a college quarterback has and continues to be a passion and a dream I chase daily with the help of some amazing coaches. Each one has and continues to help me during my journey and I know I will see them more as my senior year approaches.

Alphabetical Listing

Field Generals - QB Coach
2018 SHHS Head Coach
MATT
BECHTEL
Matt was my coach while at South Hills and at Field Generals. He taught me the game of football, how to read defenses and what a quarterback should be. RPOs, footwork, mechanics, film room...he has and continues to teach me a lot.

Armed and Dangerous QBs
STEVE
CALHOUN
The "Yoda" of mechanics and a great teacher that can explain how I can recognize and fix the problems. Looking forward to getting lots of work in with this summer.

Men Of Faith - Football Mentor
LAWERENCE
CLEGGHORNE
Coach Clegg inspires greatness in fundamentals. From running hills to learning on the field. He was also one of my coaches when I was at South Hills.

QB Coach
MIKE
ESQUAVEL
Coach "E" is always teaching and making me better. Putting me in game situations that I though would not happen...but they did. So glad I get to work out with him.

QB Coach
KYLE
KIANPOUR
I have been working with Kyle since the 6th grade. He has kept me grounded and enthusiastic about football and has helped me with my throwing mechanics over the years. Now at APU he still finds time to work with me in the off season.

Men Of Faith - Running Coach / Mentor
JOHN
LEJAY
Coach John has taught me to run and to love to run. The first day I ran the hill I thought it would be my last. But now many years later, I am still on the hill and John has been there witnessing the change that no other coach gets to see. I know I will see him M, W and F each day of the year.

Champion Training - QB Coach
CHRIS
RIX
Ok...yes...its true I had my first practice with Coach Rix at the age of 2. Although we were apart for a while, we are back at it again. Cant wait to see what happens next. #ChampionQB

SQB Training - QB Coach
NICK
STREMICK
Nick is just so much fun to work out with. How often do you find boxing gloves on a coach trying to pound the ball out of your hands while taking a 3 step drop? He is so good at explaining how to fix things. Cant wait to go back.
